Ladies and Gentleman, welcome to my page! My name is Austin Moore, thank you for stopping by to check me out. For as long as I can remember all I ever wanted to do was entertain people. At the age of 4 my parents recall walking into the room and watching me in my full Zorro costume, toy sword in hand, reciting the dialog and movements exactly to one of the fight scenes in The Mask of Zorro playing on my TV. They were impressed by their 4-year old’s memorization ability, but also concerned and thought maybe I should spend less time in front of the TV. However, it didn’t matter if I was outside playing, TV on or off, I spent most of my time putting on costumes and entertaining myself and those around me. My path was not easy growing up in an area where most of my peers were focused on sports and hunting. They didn’t understand my love of theater and screen and I was often bullied and made fun of. However, it was my imagination, determination, and support of my family that got me through those times. It is my sincere hope that someday I will be able to use my gifts to inspire acceptance and tolerance in our youth, so kids everywhere can become their best versions of themselves without fear of judgement.
BIOGRAPHY
Austin was born September 21, 1996 in Las Vegas, Nevada, when he was 2 years old his parents decided to take him and his sister to Coeur d’ Alene Idaho to raise them in a more family friendly environment. He played sports, skied, sledding, snowboarding, swam, hiked, and overall enjoyed the outdoors. However, his true passion was fulfilled when he was invited by a classmate in his high school theater class to audition for a local production. Although he had always dreamed of acting, this audition with a National Theater Program was the real beginning of his journey to work towards obtaining that dream. He spent the last couple of years of high school fully immersed in that theater program, making new friends, working hard, and growing as an actor and a person. After high school Austin moved to California, first the Bay Area and then Orange County where he currently resides. Austin continues to learn and grow through classes and workshops and is always looking for new opportunities that will lead him to his lifelong goal of becoming a screen actor and filmmaker.
In his spare time Austin is dedicated to a rigorous work-out routine, enjoys all water-based activities, hiking, watching movies, spending time at Disney Parks, hanging out with friends, playing with his dog, and making those around him smile.
